IT
was a dark Wednesday for the family of Mr and Mrs Adisa of No 26A, Agala
Success School, Babanla, Ibadan, as five members of the family were killed in
an explosion.
Nigerian
Tribune learnt that Mr Adisa, a proprietor of Ifeolu Nursery and Primary School,
Oremeji, Ibadan, was re-fuelling the family’s power generating set when his
wife approached him, holding a candle light.
The
candle light, it was gathered, caused explosion, which ravaged the family
house, leaving the parents and three children dead.
It
was only Boluwatife, who was sent on an errand to buy MTN recharge card, that
was left unhurt.
Sources
further informed that Boluwatife could not believe herself on her return,
seeing crowd gathered in front of their house.
Mrs
Adisa and three children died immediately, while Mr Adisa died at the emergency
unit of the University College Hospital (UCH), on Thursday morning.
One
of the late children of the family, sources informed Nigerian Tribune, was
preparing for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) next batch.
Mr
Adisa, who was due to move to his personal house by December, his wife and
children were buried in five different graves around Babanla area on Thursday
evening.
